Sledge Dev Integrating into an Existing Team
The Emirates Group has a top tier enterprise team that expects any new comers to be experts in their field. Barrett was able to shine in his role as a lead iOS developer and after his first week working and deliver on his first deadline the Emirates team knew they had made the right decision on brining on outside help to create new feature. The existing team relied heavily on our expertise on best practices, awesome animations, and offline capabilities.
Tight deadlines and attention to detail
This was definitely a sink or swim type project where management and the team really put us though the ringer in the first week of the project. After our first sprint it was clear we were able to hold our own and produce awesome features. We were able to bring our features to the internal testing team ahead of schedule with minimal revisions and bug fixes. Our attention to detail allowed management to focus on the big picture instead of having to nit pick small bugs and features.
The clients unique position of having users not always connect to wifi 100% of the time allowed us to develop a framework for them that allowed all content to be viewed without ani internet connection and synced with their servers when the internet came back. Our global maps and card transitions were developed 100% in house without use of 3rd party libraries. Working with their designers we were able to achieve what was thought impossible by their internal team.
